Thinking about using a set of 16x7 38mm offset as a drag setup. 205/55r16 in front and 255/50r16 in the back.

front shouldn't be a problem, but the rear might be

it helps that you have drag bags, if your fender are cut or rolled that will help as well

I've heard that some 16" wheels won't clear the 05/06 calipers and some 16" wheels will, it's a crap shoot depending on the style.

I have had Weld Draglites in 15x8 on the back with no isssues, so the rear should be fine.

I had 255/50/16 ET Street Radials, mounted on Salad Shooters for drag wheels for awhile. Worked great!

What pressure did you use in the tires? If you have drag bags much pressure in them? How did you launch with them?
