Hi,

Found out there's some intercooled versions of the "HH112" superchargers available, and wondering if it's the same as the Maggie 112HH. I'm guessing it's exactly the same thing, but our friends from "down under" reverse the "HH" in the name.

Anyway, I can get an intercooled version, which I assume would be STUPENDOUS, PERFECT, ETC., vs. the 112mp.

The gent who emailed me suggested they no longer use the "old rotors," but are on version 6.5 or 7 now.

Any thoughts if this is the same kit as the Maggie?

Should I go for this?

They aren't carb legal in USA...

I believe that the actual Rotors within the supercharger are the same as those are made by Eaton. But I think that each manufacture makes their own enclosure that goes around the rotors. So the rotors are the same between the Harrop and Magnacharger but the enclosure is different.

They are the same displacement blower, both 112. But they are two differant cases, Harrops throttle is angled to the drivers side and Magnisuns is straight ahead. Magnisuns 112HH is also intercooled and it is carb legal after they tune the computer and return it to you with the carb legal sticker. I installed the maggie112HH on a friends car two months ago, it is a very nice kit with everything needed to install it, except sealer, antisez and coolant.

The new blower Eaton has came out with is a four lobe rotor design. Its first use is on the new Corvette ZR1.

Almost first ...
The first use was the unit we made for Ford Racing / Roush, using the TVS2300 rotors.
The second use was what we make for TRD using the TVS1320 rotors.

The first "aftermarket" use was in our HTV2300 GTO kit.

The retail prices are:
HTV2300 base blower: A$2500 (~US$2150)
HTV2300 Engine Kit: A$8182 (~US$6950)
Complete HTV2300 GTO kit: A$10,700 (~US$9100)

HTV2300 base blower: A$2500 (~US$2150)

Base $2150 + Kit $6950 = GTO Kit $9100 ?

what is the difference between the engine kit, and the complete GTO kit?

Engine kit is all the bits that bolt to the engine (including 8PK pulley kit), but specifically excludes the injectors and throttle-body or throttle-body-adaptor. It is typcally what the hot-rod & race-boat guys purchase. It does not include the intercooler front-mount radiator, surge take, brackets, looms etc.

The Complete GTO Kit is all the hardware ... every last nut/bolt, loom, hose, cable-tie etc.

Kind of ...
The Engine kit includes the base blower.
The Complete kit includes the Engine kit.
We dont sell the system without the blower.

No ... it is not CARB certified. :bomb:
No ... it is not similar to the 112HH ... except that it is a valley-mounted transfer-shaft-driven supercharger.
