The ebay seller showed a pic of and advertised C5 thin spokes and told me the sizes and offsets were 18x8.5 +56 and 19x10 +65.
What they sent me were factory GM C6 wheels 18x8.5 +56 and 19x10 +79. They feel pretty lightweight and they say Speedline Italy on them. However with that huge rear offset I'm going to have to get some actual 1 1/4" wheel adapters.
I can buy generic 5x4.75 wheel adapters or I can have some custom made for triple the price. Hopefully I can get the ebay seller to refund the amount needed for custom spacers.
Doh.....

They are actually adapters. So the adapter bolts onto the hub, then the adapter has studs in it. Made out of billet aluminum. Pretty stong stuff. I have them on my 84 4-Runner rock crawler. Those things see more force in that application with super low gearing and 37" tires than my GTO ever will be able to do.

How much did you get them for? You could alway resell them on corvette forums? Then get the thin spokes you always wanted. or trade for them?

I've decided to keep them. The ebay seller agreed to refund me some money to buy adapters. So I went and got them mounted up this morning.

I Was Always Told Too Stay Away From Them Becuase Of The Major Offset Issue.
I Think You Can Get Some After Market In Different Offsets For Some More$

The rears are a +79 offset. You put on a 1"(25.4mm) adapter and that essentially turns it into a 19x10 with a 53.6mm offset.

Where are you getting the adapters from and how much $$$ are you paying for them?

Either get 5x4.75 1" adapters off of ebay for $60 or get custom hub centric ones made, yet again on ebay, for $150.

Jon6.0 -- Since you have the 5/16" drag springs, what size 19" tire did you go with? I think the stock C6 size is 285/35-19??

I picked up some used Continentals. 265/35r19 for the rear, 26.3" diameter. They are a little stretched on the 10" wheel, so when those wear out I'm going with 275/30r19 or 275/35r19, depends on if I lower the rear back to stock or maybe some 1/2" drop rear springs.

I found some local 2008 C6 split spoke wheels that I'm going to try and pick up also. That way I'll have a selection of wheels to run depending on my mood, lol. I'll probably paint the regular C6 wheels black since the crappy tire place chipped the wheels in a couple of spots.

The wheels look great, def. post pics when you get them on. If you decide to lower the rear with different springs, let me know because I would be interested in the 5/16 drag springs.

Those are the wheels I like and would actually get if I had the cash to do this. I think they would look great on a GTO.
