Since the new C6 wheels have a 18x8.5 +56 offset in front and 19x10 +79mm offset I figured you couldn't use them.

But wait...

If you put a 1" adapter/spacer that bolts onto your existing studs then has new studs that come out of it this effectively gives you a 19x10 +53.6mm offset(since 1"=25.4mm)

In the front you will need a 5mm, 8mm or 12mm spacer, depending on what tire you choose to run in the front.

There is a guy in California that will make custom hub centric adapters for $75 each. So the inside fits over the GTO hub and the other side is the Corvette size. He advertises on Ebay.

Or you can just get generic spacers for $60 shipped. This is what I'm going to try first since I'm cheap.

Also for anyone concerned about the adapters holding up I use 1.5" adapters on my 84 4-Runner rock crawler with 37" tires and a Supra Turbo engine in it. If they can handle that amount of power with low gearing and huge tires, our GTO's won't make these things break a sweat.

With good wheel studs (ARP or others) they will be fine, but I wouldn't trust the stock studs.

Maybe I should get these and just make the wheels on my dad's vette disappear. Insurance would cover it lol.
