Hey everyone, im looking to get my stock 18 wheels powder coated. Does anybody know of a good place around the Buffalo/Rocherster NY area to go? What are they charging people? Thanks everyone...

Hey thekingntb, welcome to the board. Not many here from Buffalo. You'll also see Flashpoint and The Face Puncher around from time to time.
We don't do a lot of powder coating at my work but I'll ask tomorrow and post back with a lead, if our guys are any good.

Yeah I know theres not many people around here that have gto's and its hard to find some good people to talk to about them. I was just wondering where a good place to go is... I would like to get mine done. I've seen pics on here of other people that have had theres done and they look amazing. Thanks for all ur help..

Search button on powder coat stock wheels will probably bring up some threads. I think I remember people paying about $300-400 for it.

yeah thats would i've heard most people paying for it. $300-$400. I just wanna know where a good place to go is for them. lol

i'm in the same Rochester/Buffalo area too...waiting to hear whos good...looking to have my stockers powder coated the way I painted mine....

i got a quote fom Kaiotic in Ridgewood off Metropolitan Ave and they wanted $1000 for all four.
Not worth in my opinion.
I kno its nowhere near Buffalo.

Oops sorry guys, it's been a crazy week @werk and one buyer is off this week. I resolve to ask them tomorrow who our powder coating guys are and if they are any good.

Wow $1000 for all four... If thats the case than ill just wait till i move to Houston TX. Down there they charging people like 200-400 for all four. I've heard of a lot of great places down there, but its been a big challange to find someone up hear in Buffalo... Thanks for all the help guys..

I just got mine powdercoated @ next generation powdercoating for $80 per wheel and that was 2 coats (recommended). They are in MA. but they can send a call ticket and discount ship the wheels.
