on one hand I was considering buying bridgestone blizzaks, which would set me back probably $800... :(
on the other hand I have a set of almost new P245/45/17 BF Goodrich T/A KDWS on a separate set of rims; are they really soooo bad in snow or is the driving kinda 'acceptable'?

KDWSs are OK in the snow. Unless you get caught in heavy snow or drifts. But then, that is what an SUV is for.

good to hear that - guess I'll skip the blizzaks.

Personally, I thought the KDWS sucked in the snow. I'm on the Dunlop M3 now, and am much happier.
