It's a good rifle, with some great accesories all ready installed, but it looks like they're charging you about $300-400 more for the convinence of installing it all over buying the parts individually and building it yourself.

I paid about $400 for my eotech, but it's not the same model. I have the model that runs on CR-123 batteries and not AA's, but they will be priced similarly. Surefires, although nice lights are a little more expencive than the compitetion, same with their rails. That lite and rail, I would put in the $400-500 range, and a similar setup with a Pentagon light and a Midwest Industries rails would be more in the $300-400 range. Add $100 for the flip up rear BUIS, $30ish for the Houge and $150-200 for the match trigger. Then the base cost of whatever rifle you choose.
Now if the extra price of the parts is worth the trouble of sourceing, ordering and installing the parts, then go for it. They are all top of the line parts. And I love my Eotech, great sight.

Noveske are good rifles, but for the price, they are a rip off if you're just looking for a shooter. You're paying for the name and a decent barrel. 1900 is about a $1000 more than it's worth. IMO.

If I was going to spend that much on an AR I would make sure to get a 1:7 twist so you can shoot just about every weight bullet. Like greg'sgoat said, I would buy the base gun and buy all the extras on your own.

You'll be waiting for a long time to get a complete RRA rifle. I would build it yourself. I am on my 3rd right now.

If you build/assemble the lower yourself, then buy a complete upper, you'll save a bit of cash. Then search the web for the accessories you want, then attach them.
Eotechs are nice, but I prefer Aimpoints. See if you can handle both, look through them, then determine what you want.
Surefire lights are also real nice. I have a Pentagon light w/ pressure switch on my Colt. It cost $130 with an ARMS mount vs the $300+ for a Surefire. You'd be hard pressed to convince me that the Surefire is $200 better and I own 3 Surefire flashlights.

I'm getting the 16" chrome lined barrel with tactical carry handle, winter trigger guard, and aluminum half quad free float handguard. i plan to add a mag pouch, sling, and some type of sight for now after i get my hands on it. i will decide on the laser later. I want to get the order in now because who knows what the election will bring.

RRA is crazy backed up on everything. IDK why, but it's been this way for a while. I couldn't wait that long for a gun.

I have 3 and still couldn't wait. Hell, the week wait for my FFL to open so I could pick up a handgun was killer. You're a stonger man than I.

You would laugh if you knew what it took to get one here.
1. go to sheriffs office.
2. fill out 1 sheet of paper
3. write check for $10
4. walk out with temp permit
5. wait 2 weeks and your laminated card shows up in the mail.

You have to take a class down here. It's definitely more expensive too, like $120 or something.
