Could anyone do a photochop of these wheels on my Cyclone grey? I tried playing with it, but it seems like I need a class to be able to use that program to it full potential. So any help would be greatly appreciated.

It would be a lot easier if the angle of the car matched the angle of the rim you are trying to chop.
I drive a Cyclone Gray too, I'll see if I have a pic at that angle. Stay tuned.

Maybe this angle will work

I really like those polished Octane wheels, what brand are they and do they come in sizes that fits the GTO?

My photoshop skills are very limited. Here is a quick crappy chop. Hope it helps your decision. Personally, I like the polished rim. The black rim is too dark for the Cyclone color.

Their gunmetal is very dark. I had them do a custom powder coat finish to match the rear lower piece (with GTO embossed) and it looks dark still but much better than it would have.

I really like those polished Octanes. I'm sure they would look great on my black GTO. I assume those are what ZE call their 2 piece design on their website. Anyone know what a set of 18x8 would cost. I most likely won't go with a staggered setup so 18x8 with 245/40/18 all around is what I want.

Give me about a day on the photoshop thing, My vote would be for the darker (near black) rims. My buddy has a Acura CL type s with the near black rims and it looks great. Of course I like the dark rims for my devil yellow GTO

Sweet, I'm still undecided. I guess I need to get both. hehe - wish I had the money. One set with summer tires and the other with winter tires.

They also offer a brushed aluminum finish with a clear coat protection over that. I was considering that at first but decided to get the gunmetal powder coat finish since it is slightly more durable, hides brake dust and other dirt well, plus it matches the silver/gray/black on blue theme i'm after.

For $2200 I would just spend the extra cash on CCWs or iForged wheels. :)

CCW and iForged are like $4000 a set, not exactly a small jump. For that much more, i'd just get some HRE's which would be like $5000 for a set but world class wheels, until they get slammed in a pothole or stolen at the mall. The $2200 was including shipping which was $100 on its own.

Howie AP said in some tread that the CCW are around $2500 and I believe that I prised some CCW corvette wheels a few years back and they where around there too.

Ah well I looked into iForged and they were like $900 per wheel. HRE's are like $900-$1100 per wheel and up. I thought the CCW's were higher for some reason, like $3000 or more for a set when a few people were looking into it.

Do you have a closer image of the GTO Embossing on the wheel? And who did you speak with about your setup at zeforged

Ah, they didnt put GTO on the wheels, I meant they powder coated the wheels to match the rear lower trim piece (Grey with GTO embossed in the center) like 05's have. It is a nearly perfect match. Strangely, the powder coat finish looks very 'deep' and almost shifts from lighter grey to almost dark gunmetal depending on the angle and lighting. Very cool effect.
