Reminds me of the New Beetle's that have color matched wheels... (My wife had one though...so that's probably why.)

Kind of cool. At least I think so.

I think it looks pretty decent. Not bad for stock.

Is that a photochop? I'd like to see it with black accents instead of red. I like it though.

I've been thinking about that design as well, but with a charcoal/silver scheme, like the old Rally IIs. But I think that red looks even better!

Douggo,

I have been thinking of charcoal wheels also but don't want it to look ricer.
I had a '84 Z28 that was dark silver with charcoal rockers and wheels.
It looked great, but the silver was darker than our's.

Rice...................
I'd have to agree, no offense.

I dunno about it being rice, but it is a tad on the tacky side, IMO. Might go great with an AED body kit. >snicker<

I'm just kidding, people. Settle down.

I painted my stocks a few months ago and at first I thought it was a good idea, but when I finished, it looked alright, but didn't have the fit and finish I wanted because of the small radiuses between the spokes. I though I did a pretty good job in painting them, but in the end it just kinda looked like I painted the wheel. The color scheme I chose was all wrong. For some reason it just didn't look right on the car. I have a IBM. But I didn't use color matching paint. The pic is from my cell phone so please forgive the quality.

You guys don't have to worry, I'm not going to do it to my car. I was just bored and playing around in photoshop. I love how people call it rice. That is the new term for anything that goes against the grain. lol

I would paint the whole wheel not just the insides.
It looks good on the Monaro wheel that Dbluegoat has but not on our style of wheel.

I've been wondering about doing this. I think black like JT_ posted a picture of would look really sweet on YJ.... Anyone interested in photochopping for me??? Just like the red, but in black on a YJ.....
