looks like M and H tires are out of the 17 skinnies untill the 29 and i need skinnies before the 11/20 for a track day
but..... i was wondering if these work out ok on the spares
Goodyear frontrunners
22.0'' x 4.0'' - 17''
instead of the M&H 26x4.5x17
if anyone knows where to get the M&H right now i will take them or has anyone tried the goodyears on the spares??

Goodyear says that the stock spare tires are good to 129mph straight line. They are rated lower to compensate for the load placed on them during regular street use and cornering. I have run them several times without any problems at all.

Yea but a problem with the OEM spare tires is they are heavy compared to the M&h's on the same wheels
ive compared and there is a noticeable difference

Go to the parts store and see if you can get some tires for a VW Bug.
