Almost all aftermarket ones except custom made like CCW (not in flink's case I guess????) and what not.

Not all are same size bore though, so not sure.

Most ROH wheels come with aluminum hubcentric rings pressed in, I know my Drift-R's (original version) did, and seen that claim for other models.

I think that's only the new ones. Not sure tho. Just going by what my customers have told me they bought the rings for. Haven't had a single person tell me that they didn't fit yet, so

Mine are the really old ones, The ones that actually have the proper offsets to clear without fender mods at all and still have a 9" wheel with 275 series tires on the rear, advertised and sold for the GTO... no longer in production.

Maybe it is changed now and they don't have them anymore. :dunno:

No dice on the TSW Caldwells, James?

Edit: Just saw you have a presale on the site. Any idea to when they'll be ready and shipping?

I'm looking at a couple weeks. All depending on how soon the lathe is free.

Anybody know the bore size on American Racing Wheels? Torq Thrust M's in particular? I may need some but I'm not sure of the bore size.

not to sound like an idiot... but when are hub rings used? Thanks!

batboy

Most aftermarket wheels nowadays have a larger hub than what's on the GTO so they'll fit various cars (for example BMW). They use a hug centric ring to center the wheel.

i have a lil vibration at 45mph and i am getting some bad road noise.. do you guys think the hub rings will help? ive personally balanced my wheels twice and i know for a fact that they are straight.

Can't answer that for sure but usually it is the hub rings that are needed to solve it. The wheels can be perfectly balanced, but it's never going go help this as it has nothing to do with balanced wheels.

Do ROH Drift-Rs require these rings? I could use any feedback/recommendations on lugs to use and where to find them. This is my first foray into anything but stock rims...

yes most ROH's require these rims. I've been told some come with some kind of ring, but I don't know the exact details

aye jamesbiz, i need a set of rings for my new commuter wheels! my msw's measured out to 73.025 but that's using measuring tape. i have not access to a caliper, mate. is that relatively a typical size?

btw, oz designed msw's so perhaps they share the same blueprints.

ROH wheels made for the GTO do not require hub rings of any kind. All ROH wheels made for the GTO already have a permanent ring pressed into the wheel bore to center the wheel correctly when installed.

all depends on how popular the wheels are guys. One offs won't be worth it for you.

the rings i think will work are the 82mm outside diameter and 70.5 inside diameter. Is this correct for the gto with 83 mm bore wheels?
