I've driven 200+ miles each way with skinnies/slicks on in other cars, why not drive to the track on them?
Put them in the trunk :D

Yep. Just avoid any water along the way. Padre learned the hard way.

Bag them and put in the back seat. That is how I got my snow tires home 2 at a time.

Just a reminder about slicks. If they aren't the DOT approved kind, you'd be breaking the law in most if not all states by driving on the roads with them. Many State Patrol agencies are pretty strict about this and will make you call a tow for your car - after issuing the ticket.
I caught a kid in a Mustang doing this once, said he was on his way home from the track. I gave him a warning and sent him home because he admitted to knowing better. Next weekend, he was out doing the same thing (looking for street racing oportunities is my guess) - ticketed and towed.

Have a firend with a truck or SUV follow you! I am just going to buy a trailer for my car when I get my truck. I am tired of putting so many miles on this thing. And I know with my new found power next week I will begin breaking stuff and have to trailer home every once in a while regardless!?

He might be on to sumpthin'....... I know it might look a little funny, but using the smaller class hitch and a sturdy bike rack, or one of those hitch mounted cargo racks would do the trick. Most of those bike racks use a single round post before the actual bike rack..... just extend the round post, put the wheels on the post thru the center hub hole, strap 'em down and go.
Hmmmmm....
