today i picked up a NOS kit #05177. They said that the kit will work but may need some tuning. i have a 2004 M6. wondering if anybody has this kit and if they have had any problems with it pre-tune. shop i want to tune it has a waiting list of 3-4 weeks. i also have a predator....don't know if thats gonna help. thanks in advance. i also have the NGK plugs....what should they be gapped at?

you need to get a set of NGK TR6 plugs. on a M6 a window switch is a must. MSD make a nice digital one for around $100. Take the timing out of it with your prediter. Too much timing and poof. Start with a small shot and work your way up. When I had nitrous on my S-10 I like to use it first on the dyno to watch the A/F

Stock timing is REALLY low and would be fine up to a 125shot. TR6 plugs are a must, other than that drop by a dyno to make sure there is nothing wrong and you're pretty much set up to a 150shot.

A wet shot has nothing to do with the injectors. It is all fuel pump and feedline/fuel rail capacity. Heck I wouldn't go over a 100shot with the stock injectors for a dry shot.

I have run the NOS kit on my 1999 SS Camaro since Sept of 1999 with no problems at all. I have limited it to 100 shot. I use NGK TR6 gapped at .040, window switch, and Fuel pressure safety switch. The FPSS that came with the kit was out of wack and needed to be adjusted to a lower pressure setting but that was fairly easy to do.

To get the right mixture I had to use a MAF translator (before ls1 edit came out) as the car was slightly on the lean (read kaboom) side.

However, once it was tuned, it has function flawlessly. I replace the stock fuel pump last year just for fun.

Start low and work up. Pull the plugs early and often to check as you are working up. Use a good tuner. Better safe than $6000 sorry.

05177 is a dry kit...
I wouldnt run more than a 125 threw the stock fuel system with other boltons.
