New wheels go figure!!

I received my new wheels, and had wheels installed; with bl bl bla.
I check them out a littler closer. Wam!! the wheel holes are different depth on the front 8" wheels. The lugs ( which are all alike and from same box) stick out further (~1/4 to 3/8s) on one side than the other. I measured the hole and they are different depth. The installer stated they believe the offset is different between the two.
What do you think, ever hear of such a ----up??

This is new to me. And I have installed custom wheels in the past. Get the odd-ball rim exchanged with the correct one.

pull off one of the wheels and there should be the offset stamped/casted into the back of one of the spokes. if thye both read the same, measure:)

id call the vendor i got them from and have them switch for the wheel with the right offset
