Put a set of Trijicon Ghost rings on my Remington 870 and setup my Ruger 10/22 with a Harris bipod. Now to get my Walther P22 in and head to the range with it.

That is how the Ruger 10/22 are made now, they are no longer true stainless steel. They are aluminum reciever and steel barrell painted stainless per say. They also now have a plastic trigger group on them.

Makes me mad as heck, I had a 10/22 about 7 years ago that was stolen when my parents house was broken into that was one of the true stainless model with a actual metal trigger group.

Next time you're out shooting targets with your 10/22, try removing that barrel clamp at the front of the stock. I've seen group size on a stock 10/22 go from 2" to 1.25" just by removing the barrel clamp.
