So my scrooge of a wife decided she didn't want to set up our "regular" tree after I told her I wouldn't let her set it up before my birthday (Nov 30th). So she decided I ruined christmas and blah blah blah. Whatever. So today I set up my version of a christmas tree, and it will remain up until she sets up the "regular" tree.

Yes those are Garands, yes they all have bayonets on them (including an M1905 bayonet!). Specifically they are my Winchester, H&R and Springfield Garands. If the wife doesn't set up the "regular" tree, there will be presents under the Garands this christmas.

it's the most expensive christmas tree EVER. That pic represents about $5000 worth of rifles and bayonets, plus the decorations.

i have an uncle who bought a leftover garrand from the nra's mail order catalog back in the early 70's. he was a korean war vet and wanted to own one for sentimental reasons. it has never been shot and he said i could have it when he dies. i'm not ready for him to die, but i would like to shoot it.
