I have been looking for a decent range pistol. Something that I can take to the range and just shoot.
I had been looking at the .22 Sig Mosquito but $350 for a .22 semi-auto was just too much.
Anyway, I came across an old Sig Sauer P220 chambered in 9x19 for sale at my local store. It was on sale for $369. It was clean and didn't appear to be abused. I said what the hell and picked it up.

I've been reading up on it and it appears to be somewhat of a odd gun. Called the swiss-army pistol as it was used in the swiss army in the late 1970's and was later imported to America as a P220 in .45 and 9mm.
It is obviously similar to the police trade in P6's that have been floating around for cheap. In fact, it could very well have been a swiss police trade-in gun.
Anyway, nothing special. Just thought it was neat and decided to pick it up for a shooting pistol.
