I have been considering a set of rims for my 04' 5.7. Last year I added a set of Eibach drop coils to my car giving it a 1.2 inch drop front and rear. I want to put a set of ruff racing R-278 with 18's in the front and 19's in the rear. I am wondering if with my suspension modifications that I have made if this will work? I am not looking to do any modifications to my wheel wells or any plastic. I am trying to modify without destroying anything in case I ever want to put it completely back to stock. Any feedback or experience would be great!

You will have to cut/roll if you try and put a 19 on the rear. I have 19's with 265's on back with the stock suspension and it rubs on bumps and hard turns.

That's not because you have 19's, it's because you have poor offsets. As long as the OP doesn't try anything ridiculous in terms of width and offset, and chooses a reasonable size tire, he won't have a problem with 19's out back.

The set I am thinking of going with is a 275/35/19 with a +45 offset. The front is a 255/35/18 with a +35 offset. I like the slanted look but I can go with an 18 with a similar offset to the front. As I said before I am not looking at making any modifications that cannot be undone at a later point.

I'm dropped about 1.5" in front and 3/4" out back and run staggered 18s with 9.5 out back. I had to have the rear quarters rolled to fit a 265 but now I could easily go to a 275.
