Well right now I think the Thruxtons are my choice of wheel to buy this Spring/Summer so I was wondering about fitment.
I don't have a shop in my area that rolls fenders so it doesn't look like I'll be able to go staggered as I would love to do,but will I have any issues to deal with on a non staggered setup on a stock suspension?
I'd like to go 19 inch if possible if I wouldn't have any issues to deal with, but would go 18 inch if I would.
Any info would be greatly appreciated!

I have 18s staggered, had to roll the back fenders for fitment but thats it, you can rent out fender rollers from this forum

18x9.5's in rear. Had to roll rear fenders to fit, not a big deal. Worth it for bigger tires and overall looks

Can you fit a 265 in the rear with the wheels milled 3mm to an offset of +48 without rolling or cutting your fenders?

go staggerd the lip on the 9.5 inch thruxton is awesome... somebody has to cut em for you.. there has to be a custom body shop near you within decent distance. its worth it if you gotta travel a little bit to get the fenders cut.

I was hoping that someone from the Mid-Atlantic region would chime in if they knew of a shop in the outlying area that does it,but I guess there aren't any.At least that any know of I guess.
I've checked in my local area, but no one does it.

I don't want to cut,I want them rolled.I do not trust myself to do it without screwing up my paint.

i still say keep asking there has to be someone that works on sports cars who knows about doing things like this.. its very very common. i admit though, it took me a few shops to find someone who would do it.

I'm going to keep looking because I want to go wider than a 245 in the rear so I HAVE to find someone.

Yes. Firefly had his 17" TSW's widened to a 17x11 I believe. Offset would be WAY off though unless you minitub

thats the thing about wheels for these cars..it's a crap-shoot....IMO if you have a 9.5" wide wheel (18) with a 48 offset you may be ok with a 265...if not, it's stiffer springs or just grind the lips as necessary...make sure you don't purchase a "square-shouldered" tire...get a Toyo...remember, Group A wheels is selling the 9.5 wide/18 with a 52 (better) offset and using 275 Toyo's and they swear they don't rub...i'm putting 265 Dunlops on the stock 17's this friday....stock suspension...then we shall see...:banghead:
EDIT: 265's on the rears today...stock suspension here...

With my stock springs/shocks, no.
A good rear cradle alignment with 0 drop springs, and stiffer shocks, yes. It worked for me. 18x9.5 Thruxtons shaved 3mm with Hankook Ventus R-S2 installed.

Not much if at all. The spokes or whatever you want to call them essentially stick out to where the lip ends if that makes sense i.e. no dish effect. Unlike the 9.5" which has a defined lip and has a nice dish effect.
That being said..the 18x8 still looks good, the lip is there it's just not as wide.
So if you want to save yourself hassle with rolling, etc. just get the 18x8. Throw a 255 in the back and your fine...at least for me it is.

I really want at least a 265 in the rear so if I can't without rolling I'll wait to buy wheels until after I can find someone to roll and then go with a 275.
I really want the staggered look with a wide rear tire.

I don't remember if the rims are 19x9 or 19x9.5 in the back, but I'm running Nitto 555 265/30/19 for tires on the rear. I think they're around +40 offset.
My fenders are rolled and I've got drag bags on stock springs. I run about ~10psi in the drag bags on the street.
I love the lips on the rear :woot:
