will do...can't drive the car since it's winter in michigan now :bomb:...if the street dries up i'll put some painters tape on the wheel arches and do a hard launch to check the clearance...in the meantime, i'll throw em on the car after i get them mounted up and shoot some pics....

Why would you need to cut or roll your fenders? Am I missing something? They're just the stock 17s right? I have 275/40s on the rear of mine with no problems..

I finally had some time to get them mounted...threw em on the GOAT...snowing out today...couldn't take a drive...but it looks as tho i'm gonna have plenty of rear wheel fender lip clearance...the 265's seem to fit the stock 17's fine...:)

here is a pic...

I don't understand why you thought there was gong to be a problem?

265 on a 17? I run 275/40 on my 18's no problem...

Did you not research?

with all the wheel lip interference on this website you never know...seems like most on here are having probs with aftermarket...couldn't really find too much info on a stock suspended oversize setup...

actually, all my research lead me to doing this...

awesome... i want to put 255's or 265's if they will fit on my stock 18's, but guys at the tire shop told me the max would be 245, bs, and wouldnt install wider than that...its cool that they fit on the 17's...

I had 275's put on my car about 3 hours ago, they fit. But good thing I took a grinder to the fenders last night :)

i would think 265/35's would fit fine...i wouldn't go any wider than that on an 8" wide rim...

I was thinking the same thing. My 275's look huge compared to those.
