16's in the back 17's in the front

Is this safe to run ?

I have 255 50 16 Mickey Thompson Street Drag radial in the back and I was gonna use the stock 245 40 17 Up front on the stock rim.

Would this be safe at higher speeds?

It's the outside diameter of the wheel that matters most, I don't think the diameter of rim would make a difference.
