Had some Toyo R1R's put on a couple months ago....I really like these tires. Had some problems with the initial installation however....since I have the peddars track two with lowering...the stock size 17" Toyo's (whatever the stock size is) rubbed real bad after I left Les Schwabb....so bad there was smoke coming out of the car....I turned around and they looked at it and determined they were rubbing against the shocks in the front or coil protecter....don't recall. The fix was a large hammer and impact driver to pound the shit out of the metal housing....didn't hurt the peddars and the tires don't rub. I took the car to Vegas and to central cali on a trip and the tires are great....very quiet and they hook up incredibly! I haven't tracked the car yet, but will soon. They are also good in rain and I plowed through some serious rain in central cali on the trip...no problems. Highly recommend....although expensive and wider/more square than most tires. I did get a $100.00 rebate and paid about 950.00 for the 4 tires.
