I was just entertaining the thought. I'm sure a bunch of guys and gals prefer not to have their concealed weapons concealed in the glove-box only in a case that zips to open and close, or a simple tabbed case where you flip two tabs and it opens up where it just tumbling around in their cars glovebox. I was curious to know if anyone ever fabricated a holding spot for their gun in their car?

I came across this and the idea just popped into my head.

Perhaps mold it into your glove box so you just don't have a case or lock box just tumbling around in their glove-box or car. How about the area next to the dead pedal? Passenger side? or ANY part of their cars interior? This applies to any car not just the GTO. Kind of like James Bond from Casino Royale where he gets his new ride and he presses a button and a compartment slides out revealing his Walther. Anyone ever fabricated something similar?

I use these for the very odd times where I must leave my gun in my car:

They come with a super strong steel cable that you loop to your seat frame underneath in order to make it difficult (or impossible without bolt cutters) to remove. It is safe and secure, but still quick and easy to access when I get back to my car to reholster before I drive away. I keep two in every car I own.

So its a cable and you can pretty much put the box anywhere you want for as long as the cable is?

Not a new idea. They have car install kits for these and similar safes at gun shows and of course online.
