I have had this Smith & Wesson M&P15 lower siting around for a while that I picked up for $170. Today I bought a RRA upper with 16" barrel for $590. It had bolt carrier and free floating 4-sided rail handguards. I also picked up one of those CAA stocks with the rail and battery compartment. I am going to have a wicked little mutt of a carbine for under $1000. You can't get a S&W or RRA assembled rifle for under 1400 anywhere right now. building your own is the way to go. A cool new muzzle break and a 4 sided rail gas block with some flip up sights and I will have my dream carbine.
It's funny, you go to RRA's website and everything is on backorder, but at this gun show they must have had 50 uppers, 30 lowers, 20 complete rifles and all kinds of parts at the RRA booth.
