Just took a few pics of my Foose Nitrous Chrome Wheels today after getting them powder coated. Didn't like that much chrome so I had them powder coated, still need to get the center cap painted. Couldn't get it powder coated because it is plastic. Very happy with the result.

Yes, it is at OMSI. The parking lot has a little spot where I can get a nice backdrop of the Portland skyline. I have taken photos from that spot on a couple of my cars.

It would be cool to get a group of Portland GTO owners for a photo shoot. I will make a post on the "NW Regional" forum.

So they didnt have a problem powder coating just the centers? Im thinking of doing this with some wheels I have. Powdercoating the center and leaving the lip polished. If you dont mind me asking, about how much did they charge? Did they powdercoat the back side of the wheel or just the face? Thanks! Looks good!

I had them powdercoat just the face of the wheel. They taped off the lip to keep it chrome. They couldn't powdercoat the center cap because it is plastic and would melt when they put it in the oven. I am having Dupot make me a spray can of my powdercoat color so I can paint the center caps to match. The powdercoating shop told me that chrome is not the best surface to powdercoat, but they do it all the time with good results. I paid $275 for the powdercoating. I paid a local tire shop $140 to have my tires dis-mounted from my whees and then mounted / ballanced with new valve stems when done. Total cost was $415 I did not have them powdercoat the backside of the wheel.

Looks good, for me I'm loosing my interest in chrome wheels anyway.

Had a set of M-Parallel chrome wheels powder coated black about nine months ago for my BMW and I've been getting compliments every week since.

Sorry Mavrick! Not trying to sideswipe your thread! Just trying to give others a different perspective of the wheels. I think they look great on your ride! Wish I had a set on my GTO!:)

Thanks! That means I can have my aluminum wheels powder coated when I get tired of the polished look, but keep the polished lip!

I think QSM is the only color that can pull those wheels off, although I haven't seen them on any other color. Picturing them in my head just doesn't seem like they would look right though.
