Anyone have any experience with these? I just bought an 05 Torrid red with 30,000 miles on it and these are the tires on it. The rears are worn pretty good and will need replacing this season. Just wondered if anyone has run these before.

I hear they're okay, especially for the price (i think about 120 ea). They are summer tires and have pretty good cornering and traction as well.....

Run far away and don't stop running from these tyres.
Also, don't drive your car on them, specifically no spirited maneuvers as that rubber WILL fail you when you least expect it to.
Seriously, the BFG tyre is subpar is almost all regards to even the most inexpensive other tyres. I found out the hard way....
My old '05 TR/A4, met its fate a few years back with these(worn) tyres on it. It ended up flipped and totaled, and without elaborating, I believe the tyres were THE compounding reason behind the accident.
Anyway, I currently have Nitto 555 EP's all around, 245/45/17 on the front and 255/40/17 on the back. Couldn't be happier.

i would be upset if i wrecked my car too, but to take it out on the TIRES(correct spelling) is just ignorant. Driver error, not the tires.
anyways i love them, the more you drive on them the better they stick because they heat up. Great value, really makes the car stick to the road. I even run them in the snow, as long as you take it easy you'll be fine. My only concern is they dont seem to be lasting very long, although i do spin the tires alot.

I used to have an 88 IROC Camaro that made good power. Always ran Firestone SZ 50's on the front and Nitto DR's on the rear. All 245/50/16. The Nittos were decent but didnt last long

Had them for about 35,000 miles and two winters in NJ. They were good tires. Good dry traction, great in the rain and, actually pretty good in light snow. Had good launches at the strip too. All in all, very happy with them. I went with the BFG G-Force Super Sport A/S as their replacement. Just wanted a little increased tread life over the G-Force Sport. If I didn't drive so much, the G-Force Sports would've been replaced with the same tire.

I have had them as well. I remember them having pretty good treadwear. I got over 5,000 more miles from them than I did my Kumho 712's.
They are pretty good in the cornering and wet traction department. I have driven with them in light snow/ice too and agree that they are actually passable, but use lots of caution while doing so.

Cool--my main concern is dry traction> I will be making some trips to the dragstrip too. I used to have an extra pair of rims with ET streets for my camaro--that was the ticket for the racing!!

Just got the BFG G-Force SS A/S as well since its my daily driver. no complaints so far, or from the stock BFG's for that matter.

They're not that cheap...
... and I still have traction problems in first and second with 265s on a basically stock car :o

I was looking at these this morning. Had to order tires today, but went with the BFG KDW, not the KDWS that is stock on the GTO's. They are a little more expensive but are a bit better from what I've read. I'll see when they get here. As for BFG's being crap tires, I've had no problems with them so far with 68k on the goat. Just my experience.

I wouldnt take what Sethereal said to heart. His wreck sounds more like driver error, and keyword being "worn" tires.
As for performance, dry or wet mine hook, well about as good as any tire is gonna hook on the gto. Cornering is like its on rails, the only complaint I have is the price is a little high, and they wear out faster than i think they should. I paid $800 and change for a set on my goat from discount tire.
Then again, I swear by BFG, from my Mud terrains on the Jeep, to the All terrrains on the ZR2, i love BFG.
