Nexen N7000

whats the story with these tires...would anyone suggest them?...Just bought new rims for summertime...I only drive the car on weekends...not looking for track use I have street slicks on my stock 17's for that.

I don't know how the 7000s compare to the 5000s. I bought the nexen 5000s about 6 weeks ago. here's the up side, your cornering will improve greately and the inherent GTO steering wheel shimmy at around 60 mph also improves. The down side is that the side walls of these rock hard donuts will destroy your ride quality. I've even considered taking these things off and replacing them with another tire such as a michelin, continental or possibly even B.F.G Comp TA. I have 47000 miles on my car now and of the 3 sets of tires that I have on it , I prefer the Comp TA to the KDW or the nexen but I couldn't find a set when I was ready to replace my old tyres. My advice is don't buy them try something else, anything else.
