I have 45mm offset wheel what size tire can i fit in the rear the wheel is a 18x9 i want some sidewall and i dont want to roll my quarters. Last time i bought wheels i beileive i was sold the wrong offset and it rubs with 235s. Now i have these sized wheels and im hoping for atleast a 265.

I would advise preparing yourself to cut, grind or roll the fenders. There is always the possibility of the perfect offset/tire/rim configeration that will avoid rub, but not likely. Whether you have raised/stiffend springs will also play a part.

I'm running an 18X8.5 rim with 40 offset and a 245/40 tire plus stock height Lovell springs. I still rubbed on the back.

I used a grinder to shave away just enough of the rim. No problems since.

You can use tirerack to help find the section widths from various tire manufacturers. This will help you find a just right sized 265 or a smaller 275 series tire. Going any smaller will be a waste of your 9" rim.

Good luck.

a 265/35 might just get you there with a 45 offset and a 9" wide wheel

48 offset would be ideal i think

You'll have to grind or roll the fenders, no way around that.

265/35R18 or 275/35R18 is what you want.

Think i can do a 265/40

no way...

265/35-18 = 25.3" O.D.

265/40-18 = 26.3" O.D.

you will definately rub with a 45 offset and a 9" wide rear wheel

depends on tire..im on 45mm 9.5" with 275/35's and they barely rub

Difinately won't fit a 265/40, would be to tall. You should be good with a 265/35. Thats what I am running on mine with a +35 offset and they rub a little with some weight in the back seat.
You will have to roll the fenders unless you want to cut up the sidewall, take it from somebody that knows. Happened to me the day I put the wheels and tires on.
