here at school, but my brothers been driving the goat mostly at home. switched from nankung ns-II's to the same size (235-40-18) sumitomo htr zIII's. first thoughts:
-car feels higher and much more stable.. but doesnt actually sit higher.
-left side mirror would shake during driving with the nankung's, but now it doesnt anymore? weird attribute, but it'll take it.
-grip is ridiculous, like glue. both highway and especially street-wise, it holds on the road really really well.
will be adding to this as the tires wear down (with the amount i'll be driving it, probably take 2-3 years haha)

I run the HTRZIIIs on my Talon in a 235/45 17. I love them so far. I had the HTRZs on there before. so far they have lasted at least 10K without any problems....

When did you buy yours? I paid like 119 a tire, plus about 50 something dollars for shipping. I bought mine from tirerack. Feel like I overpaid now...
Oh BTW, my girlfriend went to Youngstown. Her mom lived in Niles and her dad in Garrettsville.

Grip? Handeling?
I must be getting old.
I want to know if they are first and formost QUIET?
Smooth riding?
Any vibration problems or problems getting to balance?

I have 4 of them (245/45-17). They have a lot more grip than the stock BFG's, and seem better all around. They are very quiet, at least when new - I can't speak to when they are worn down. Very smooth, and balanced without problems.
I plan on getting these next time. I wouldn't say they're like glue, but they are fairly grippy.

UPS just dropped mine off. I really like they way they look. They do not look cheap or budget in any way in my opinion. I will probably mount them up later this week or next weekend. I'll let you guys know how well they balance, road noise, feel, etc.

Ah, there is the difference. Reading comprehension FTW
Hope the 245's fit without any issues. The tire sponsors on this site and lots of members say 245/40/18 is good on stock wheels.

I have the HTRzIII's in 275/40 17 in back and 245/45 front, tires are great, dont have any front rubbing issues, but in back if the air bags fall below 10psi they rub over bumbs and what not. Tires are solid for being so f'n cheap.

They do run narrow - the sidewalls are not squared like other tires.
