I got PBM, and I cant decide which to get. I am not usually a fan of black on black but the mirror lip on the R281 really catch my eye.Ive seen pics of the R281 on PBM. Maybe someone could photoshop the TSW on a pbm for me?

Im guessing you like the rivet look. If not, check out the TSW Snettertons. I think I will be getting a set very soon. I still cant seem to decide on 18's or 19's, though. :bomb:

For a mesh wheel, the 281s are ugly.

The Varianos look great (even though I don't like the rivets).

I almost ordered a set of 281's.... I did like the TSW Snettertons a little better though... But between those two you have pictured above... Id going with the 281's..

Well, if you must choose between those two, I'd say yeah on the R281s. Those Varianos look ugly.

I just talked to Tom at VQ Motoring, he seemed really knowledgeable and made me feel really comfortable in what I was ordering. I ordered the R281 19in staggered. They are shaving 3mm of the rear rim for me. So far so good, we'll see how the delivery is.

I agree!

As for OP then I don't like black wheels with chrome lip so I have to say #2 but thats IMO.

I would like to see you go with the TSW wheels. They are new and no one really has them yet (at least for the gto). The R281s are very nice and fit the GTO well. You cant really go wrong with that as they are very popular.

I definately thought the TSWs were a different and interesting look, and theres nothing wrong with trying something new, but I just wasnt willing to conduct a 1600 dollar experiment. Im not usually a fan of "black on black" but the mirror edge on these rims did it for me. plus i think they will hide my rusted ass hubs better lol. I cant wait till I get them on!
