The pricing has been out a few weeks now. Everything is carry over.

If sales keep the current pace, it's not likely to happen...

Ah I think it will happen to some degree. 05's are being built until mid-july...2 months after they will be arriving at dealers. Do the math...Pontiac dealers will be seeing 05's mid september

If sales keep the current pace, it's not likely to happen...I'm sure it will happen because GM will need to price segregate the 05 from the 06, but the problem will probably be inventory and availability. I think people who have a specific color combo, and/or M6 or A4 requirement should seriously think about buying before then. Someone who is willing to take several colors, etc, who is only really concerned with "getting into a GTO" might be slightly rewarded in waiting. I say slightly though because the 05 hasn't had any trouble selling, and looking at the cars disappearing all over the country, I'd say they are doing really well. GM'r just posted that the GTO may be removed from the GMS pricing program.

There are still a few hundred in NY/NJ/CT alone. All colors, all trans.

Lots of them all over from our checks. Dealers here in CA were deep discounting before the GM employee pricing deal and I bought mine for less and got zero financing for 3 years too. Difficult to sell a car they don't advertise much and that doesn't seem to draw that much attention on the lot.

Yet everyone that I run into seems to like it, it's odd. They love the car, some know alot about it. They are not a car for everyone however.
