yep just painted mine not hard get some high heat spray paint take a scuff pad and scuff the hell out of it and get as much dirt oil off the caliper then wipe clean with mineral spirits or some type of cleaner then tape up everything other than caliper and go to town

Love this stuff. http://www.g2usa.com/
It's much easier to do if you remove the caliper from the bracket and remove the pads.

IMO...take em apart...use brake cleaner on em...cleans them real good...let dry thoroughly....then use Dupli-Color High Heat paint...
2 or 3 coats...let dry somewhat between coats...leave the brackets stock...

Go to Autozone(or similar store) and buy the brake caliper paint kit, it comes with brake cleaner, paint, brush, and directions. Get the kind that you brush on instead of spray paint then you wont have to take anything apart.
I have used both kind and the brush on kinda is alot more user friendly. In fact painting the calipers is on my to do list for the Vue.

What PirateGoat said. I painted the outer part of my 05 brakes over a year ago and the paint still looks as good as the day I put it on.
