I just put ROH Furrys on my Goat with stock size Nittos on the front and im experience a shimmy myself that wasnt present with the stock wheels, there doesnt appear to be a rubbing issue at all and everything checks out with mine as well.

Mileage?
Have you checked your front suspension especially the radius rod bushings?
If they're shot, the front end shakes and the tires wear quite unevenly.
It doesn't seem to take too long to wipe them out (the tires)
18.5 is a wide wheel, any front end issue that's not right can cause a bigger problem than normal

what is this shimmy you all speak of? How can you tell if its doing it, symptoms?

at a slow speed mine is fine but when i approach 40 - 45mph the steering wheel begins to vibrate rather noticeable and you can feel the vibration in the front end. The higher the speed the less it seems to do it. I've thought maybe an allignment issue but i just had the car alligned. But I did add new rims and tires afterwards, that may be the problem. Any help would be much appreciated. OP not meaning the ThreadJack but these issues are very very similar so do you mind shareing? plz? :)

low speed no probleml, but bout 50 to 70 i notice a slight shimmy/shake in the steering wheel and can feel it throughout vehicle...

As far as the radius rod bushings, i have bout 5k on the pedders bushings, total vehicle miles 33500...

It seems like if after you reach a certain high speed, the vibration starts to cancel itself out so to speak...

I just aligned the car and balanced and road forced new wheels and tires, the road force was pretty high but it showed it being high on all four, so im gonna assume a problem with my machine, cause this would be highly unlikely to have four bad brand new tires...

Also note that the 235/40s on the car now have the same tread width as the 245/45s that came off the car...

I think thats bout all i have to offer at the moment...
