Help me decide... I had a "blacked out" car before. I Loved it. But hyper-black might make the car look better.

My car on stock 18's. Very hard to compete with IMO!

Here is a picture of the car right now. It is lowered and no spoiler. So imagine the different wheels on the car if you can.

Choice #1-Matte Black... Wheels disappear... nothing to look at, but up-close the car/wheels look great.

A Black Wheel is just hard to see, but it has that look..that I love.

Then there is Choice #2-Hyper-Black...

My car is lowered so obviously there would be much less fender gap. Looks great.

You can see the wheels a lot better, silver or gunmetal is too light for me.




So that's it, I need opinions, Choice 1 or Choice 2?

Dude im not going to lie. The blacked out stock 18s look the best....

Like you said, too much black. That is why i did the polished lip look.

I agree Mantis, that's why I figured I could always get them PC'ed later on, if I got sick of the color.

I would rather PC black than hyper black, so I'll be able to have both, really.

Some of the GTO's I've seen with black CSL's looks a bit off for some reason.

So that's why I had such a hard time deciding.

Also wish I could have purchased 19's, then I would go matte for sure.

I really like your wheels Corndog... Kind of my insperation for getting the CSL's.

But those are 19's aren't they. You bastard!

How close are the rear wheels to the fenders? with a 45 offset? I was thinking of having them shaved 3mm.

Well, after all this thinking, they are sold out of 18x9.5 Hyperblack rears. Won't be in until April.

Hyper black man...they look great imo. However, your car looked awesome with the blacked out stock wheels. Still, I like how the hyper black kinda stands out a little...

Nice choice... Where did you order from? Once you get the hyperblack CSL's on you'll love your choice.. I was mixed as well between ordering Matte Black, and hyperblack.. For some reason some goats would look really nice with matte black, and others would look almost like they had hub caps on.. I love my hyperblack CSL's, and you will too!
