For those looking to go to a low impedence injector and converter wait no more. It is as simple as it gets. AEM makes a converter and racetronics has an adapter harness that is plug and play. I purchased both from Lonnies Performance. I installed it all on the Goat this weekend with some 96lbers and it was the easiest install I have done yet. If you can number your cylinders, you can do this. You just need a little tuning and thats it. I have been on the edge with injector size and have put off doing this. After installing the box, harness, and injectors Nick did a quick tune for the new size injector and the car started up better than ever. I was impressed by the quality of the harness and the ease of the install. The harness is numbered for each injector and it all plugs right up. Plug and play :ftw:

It is a very nice piece. My buddy is running one on his TA and loves it. Basically said what you said... VERY easy install.

Out of curiosity, what settings did he use for the injectors?

Any chance of a picture of the hardware while installed? I'm curious how much appearance clutter this may add to the engine bay.
Big thank you for posting the info! :)

I have the same setup except 120lb injectors and you'd never know it besides the shot glass sized injectors under the rails.
Any pics? Where did you mount the AEM unit?

I will get a few photos when it is complete. Right now I just have everything hooked up and kind of tucked. :) I am going to finish up next weekend and get some pics. I am going to mount the box in between the ABS block and the fuse block.

Why not just go with the high-imp injectors they have out now?

And they are slow compared to a low impedance injector with a peak/hold driver box. More manageable at lower pulse widths and not as sloppy.

Exactamundo. It will be very hard to get a car to run good with those. Not to mention I really don't like to be the first to try something. I have done that enough and it is a PITA!

Right on, I've got the exact same setup coming from Lonnie this week along with his double pump fuel system so I can run E85 and have enough fuel for 700 rwhp+. Glad to hear its a simple install :turbonaug. I can't wait to see the system, Lonnie has been great to work with over the phone.

Here's what the car made with the new injectors. I still have the Lonnies Performance double pumper fuel system.

I have the same setup. It was easy as can be. We mounted my box on the passenger side firewall. I will post pics if anyone wants them.

Looks like you have the same breather problem that I do. (rag around the breather) I have a oil spot on the bottom of my hood from it. I have to get my vacuum pump installed to fix it.

That is a temporary fix. That valve cover doesn't have a baffle. Do you need a vac pump? I have one for sale.

I have a GZ but I may upgrade, what do you have? I have aftermarket valvecovers with no baffles but they are set up for a Vacuum system and have a 10AN male fitting welded to each cover.
