Any new interior exterior color combos for 06?

Yes it would be nice, but you can't get it. MBM and Yellow Jacket are gone.
Replaced with Brazin Orange and Spice something or other. Interior colors remain the same. If you do a search you'll find more info, you may just have to scroll down a bit.

The reason I was questioning the interior colors is you can order our Holden counterpart in Gray with either red or black interior. I did a forum search but things change quickly with the GTO. If you go to the Pontiac web site in the colors section it still shows CGM with gray gauges even though they have been red for awile. Might think they would update their website a little more often.
How hard would it be to export that combo? I love my CGM more every day but that red interior would look perfect. Anyone want to swap out interiors? It really wouldn't be very hard.

The Holden Monaro doesn't loose the Red interiour, we'll have it until the end of the life of the coupe.
The only Holden Monaro that will get the Orange (called Fusion) is the run out coupe which will be call the CV8-Z.
But only the centre section of the seat covers will be Orange, the outer edges will be Black Anthracite, the door trims and the rear trims will be all Black Anthracite.

The CV8-Z has a limited run of between 500 - 750 vehicles and you can have a choose of the Orange/Black interiour or just all Black.

Find the thread where someone found the salvage yard that all of the 05 train wreck GTOs went to. I'm sure they'd sell you a complete red interior.

Thanks for that update, will be interesting to see how the orange insert looks. Glad that the red interior is staying as well. What about the Red exterior, I have read that it is being dropped in Australia along with Odyssey Grey and that the Fusion exterior is the replacement for the two , seems a strange move.

I usually am not crazy about red interiors but the GTOs shade of red is very classy and tasteful. Its not overwhelming. I will find one somewhere. Thats what I do..

I know because I ordered an Odyssey with Red Leather interior - not being produced from July/August. I was told Fusion is the replacement exterior colour for both and have since ordered the Fusion exterior.

From July/August all interiors will be black leather except Fusion & Phamtom (black) which will have the Fusion leather interior, which scares me because I have ordered site unseen.

I have found photos of the Fusion exterior but not the Fusion interior which I am desparate to see.

It was probably your comments on LS1.com that i had read earlier that prompted my questions. I think Fusion with Black interior sounds ok but without seeing the Orange inserts its hard to know.

Seems strange to get rid of RedHot and Odyssey as they still exist for the GTO production.

Adding Shangha Red would also be strange for the Manaro given its and old color in OZ.

Could be the dealers are not being fully informed and are only beeing told what they need to know at this stage.

Hope the Orange inserts look good and your happy with them.

Hi Noddy,

Well lets just say because of where I work I'm in the know about all Holden product's and info.
Are you ordering a GTO or Monaro, the reason why I ask is because depends on what coupe it is (GTO, Monaro (Aussie), Monaro (UK) or the coupe in the Middle East) depends on what interour colours are avaliable.

The Standard Monaro & the Middle East version end's it's production life at the end of July, the CV8-Z goes into production in August until end of November. The CV8-Z only comes in 3 colours Black, Silver & Fusion.
The UK Monaro and the HSV version's stay until the end of December
The Pontiac GTO stay's in production until mid 06, the only thing that changes for the GTO is it's exterior colours it keeps all 3 interior colours until it's end of life.

That stinks for you guys. Get one while you can or you'll be stuck with used ones. I've heard that the monaro has a pretty good resale value too. Since they are so low production there.

I found out today that the GTO will cease it production life in June 2006, also found out that Holden will be making 1200 of the CV8-Z run out model not the 700 and it'll be available in 5 colours not the 3 like they first advised.

:cool: Figured 2006 GTO production would need to go till June 06 and not only august 05 till december 05 like you orginally said(maybe it was monaro only)
