Ok i am about to finally add a FAST intake to my car.

My question is -

Is it better to switch over to LS1 style rails and ls1 style injectors with the electrical adapter to go to EV6 or

Use the adapter kit that i already have, with ls2 style injectors and the stock or aftermarket ls2 rails.

I am going to need to go up to 42lb injectors so i am just trying to figure out what the best way to go is. I figure i will just swap from the stock GM line to an AN line to go from the stock line to the new rails if i go that route.

Thanks for the help guys.

just use a set of SVO injectors and call it a day. you dont need to buy a new rail if you do that and can reuse the adapter kit. you will need the electrical adapters though.

The stock ls2 fuel rail is supposedly good to 500-550. I would get aftermarket rails for look alone, but added volume is nice safety. Use a quick connect to -6 or -8 an fitting to hook the stock feed line up to the back of one of the rails, run a crossover -6 or -8 line over the TB to connect the rails and block the back of the non-feed rail with a plug. You can also throw a fitting with a 1/8" npt female hole on the front of the feed rail before the cross over to add a FP gauge. If you decide to go -6 I have the crossover and the feed lines fitting all except the quick connect. PM if you want.

LS2 style injectors are usually more expensive and have less options for different flow rates, but aside from that, personal preference.

IMO,

If you are going to do it, do it correctly.

LS1 Style Rails & EV1 Style Injector with a EV6 Plug

The electrical and fuel rail adapters are cheesy.

They fit the FAST Intake and plug right into the factory harness.

FAST sells them but they aren't cheap. I just used the SVO 42lb (at 39psi) Green-tops and EV1-EV6 wiring adapters. They work fine, and were a lot cheaper. I got the injectors for right around $230 shipped.

Let me know if you need LS1 rails. I have the stocker sitting in the garage.

Old thread, but i went with the regular 42lbers and used the electrical adapters. Benn running them since last april no issues.
