Kids having access to guns isn't the problem; it's kids not being taught about guns (what they can do, how they work, how to properly handle and use them) before they can get access that's the problem.

The last time I went to the range, there was a guy there with his kid, who couldn't have been more than 8 or 9 years old. Kid was hitting good groups center mast and when he turned around to check for his dad's approval, he kept the pistol pointed down range; just did the half-back-step-head-turn for a moment. When he was done firing, he removed the magazine (keeping weapon pointed down range) and and set the gun down, pointed down range without his dad saying anything and he even checked the chamber.

I recorded it last night and watched it today. One Hour of my life WASTED. Typical B.S. Lets have a trained Police Officer and Range Instructor go into a classroom and have a shoot out with a person that has almost no training. Hmmm...I wonder who is gonna win? Should have replaced the Police Officer with another student (that doesn't know who has the gun). Then it would have been more real.
