My car was vandalized (girl friends ex put sugar in my gas tank). The Chevy dealership I had do the work installed a new gas tank and fuel module. Now my fuel gauge doesn't work. The mech. checked the gauge with the Tech II and the gauge is fine. They are now telling me it had nothing to do with what they worked on, even though it worked fine when I brought it in. Any Ideas what it could be?

Is it showing Empty or Full?
It's probably something simple like the float arm on the Bucket (Not what you call it)
In fact I'm pretty sure that's what it is. If that's the problem, it is without a doubt the Mechanics Fault when installing the bucket.
This is the piece that's attached to the fuel bucket. It floats on top and sends a signal back to your gauge. It may have been installed incorrectly.
Check out this picture to get an idea of what I'm talking about.
Also, check the connectors on the right side of the tank next to the fill tube. Wiggle them around to make sure it was plugged in all the way.

it's showing empty. The mileage range still works. just the gauge doesn't work it doesn't move at all. I will check the connections tomorrow.

Probably just forgot to snap that piece onto the assembly.
