Anyone used Nitto NT01?

I am thinking about getting a set of these in 275 35 18's. Has anyone used them? I will be doing some track driving for fun and the odd trip to the drag strip.

The GTO is not my daily driver so I am not too worried about noise.

It's a great tire, and would work well for track/strip use. I've gone through a few sets on road courses in the 245/45/17 size. However, it's not a street tire (treadwear 100), and I would only recommend them for a spare set of wheels.

Sorry to bring back this thread, but along my searching for street DR's to use in the summer, these looked pretty good(obviously they aren't ET streets or hoosiers). They are rated/perform better than the nt555r drag radials and have the same tread life rating. Might be good for those people that are looking for sticky street tires with a good amount of tread life(nitto DR's are known for this). I wonder how they would compare to BFG's and other popular street drag radials, looks like a close call when comparing tread patterns. Anyone else with experience on these?
