Alright I've searched and searched until I'm confused and completely lost. I am looking for a set of C5 Z06 wheels to put on my Goat. I just want the 17" all around nothing crazy and probably just keep the stock tires on it 245/45/17. Will I run into any problems? I know multiple people have used different sizes, widths, and everything else but I just can't seem to find the answer I'm looking for. Will they work with no modification or do I need to hack up shocks and roll fenders? Thanks in advance for the input!!

if you can find a set of wheels in the stock size with the stock backspacing(+48mm) then you will have no fitment issues.

Alright thanks...Do you happen to know what the stock backspacing of the C5 Z06 wheels would be? I can dig around if you don't feel like telling me.

replicas will vary but if your talking about a factory set then there is no way they will work since the factory ZO6 wheels are 17x9.5 with something like a +56mm offset. i think you can get a set of 17x8.5 with a +49mm offset from a replica company and you should have no issues. i was looking at a set of C6 ZO6's 17x8.5 front with the same offset.

Again thanks for the input...Yeah I was just looking for a replica set. I saw a few floating around on E-Bay and decided to dig around to see if they fit. I'll see what I can come up with now. Thank you again!

Alright so I e-mailed Bob at House Of Wheels Online and found a set that I want, but there is one problem? The backspacing for the wheels only comes in a 54 mm offset. Since the GTO is a 48 mm offset what will I need to do in order for these to fit correctly? Thanks for the help in advance once again!!

if its a 9 or 9.5 rear and your cradle is aligned you might get away with 54mm, the front there is no way you can run that much offset without spacers or alot of neg. camber or some type of coilover.

Thanks phantomgoat04.

The rears will just be the stock 8.5" and as far as spacers in the front what size would be best to use and would I then have to roll my fenders to make them fit. Again I am going to be going with 17"x8.5" all around and a tire size of 245/45/17.

i don't think it would be safe to run spacers on wheels that you plan to DD on, if you can't find a 8 or 8.5" wheel with close to the offset required i would just keep looking. there is a member on here with C5 ZO6's on his car, his sn escapes me at the moment but i'll find it and post it, you can ask him exactly what he has and where he got it or what he had to do to make it fit.

edit: his sn is r0nd3l

Like somebody mentioned, OEM C5Z wheels are 17x9.5" ET54. That's what I have all around with 255/40 tires.

I'm using 20mm adapters in front for final offset of 34mm. This causes front wheels to poke slightly outside the fender and that's with extra clearance coilovers and Noltec strut mounts provide.

My rear wheels are bolted down to the hub with no spacers. This makes for rather akward look as front wheels stick out much more. I'm going to be installing 10 or 12mm rear spacers to fix this slight appearance issue.
