Well like the title says I just dropped of my OEM 18's, waiting to get stripped and coated. Should take about 1-2 weeks then I will get them back, mated with some BFG KDW2's and mounted on the car. Upgrading the brakes at the same time, Drilled rotors with Hawk ceramic pads.
Anyway, long story short, I need some help photoshopping the color onto the wheels.
I've never mounted up the 18's on my car so I borrowed the pics from another member on here. Forgot the name but I hope you don't mind.

Wow 1-2 weeks... When I was going to get mine done they told me 1-2 days at the most.. Maybe the shop is busy or something.. Ur car is going to look amazing when the wheels are done.. I also have kdw2's on now and i love them.. Nice choice for powder coating and tires.

What do you think about the road noise with those tires? I've read it gets bad after you put some miles on them.
The shop is pretty busy with racecar frames and various parts. It's just nice that they are only 5 minutes from my house.

I'm almost on the fence about the color. There is a bit of blue in the metallic, which may be cool or may end up looking like crap. I think I may head back there tomorrow or the day after to find a flatter shade.
I really want to go a dark silver or graphite/charcoal look. I want to go darker than stock but not black. I'm also limited by what the guy has in stock. Anything else he would have to order and I would pay for the materials and setup fees. And I don't want to shell out an extra $200.

Good choice in color. Not a bad price to do all wheels. BTW where do you live, cause I see you live in lake county?

So I went back and made a final decision. I'm going with "black chrome." I've decided against a metallic color. This one looks more like a hyperblack you would find on some other wheels. Check out the attached file. This was taken with my phone. It actually looks 10 times better. I'll post more pics when I get the wheels back.

To be honest I don't hear any road noise due to the fact that I have corsa sport exhaust on it... The exhaust its pretty loud so theres no way in hearing road noise lol... There have been people that tell me they hear road noise, and others that do not.. A buddy had them on his Mustang GT and said he never heard loud road noise...

I think satin black or your original choice would have looked better, IMO.

black chrome will look pretty sweet... I know there is another board memeber that drives a QSM that has his stock wheels powder coated chrome black..
