Summer is coming and i'm in need for some traction. I'm pushing over 600 at the wheels, and I'm wondering what tire everyone recommends for decent traction on the stock 8" wide wheels. I would love to get some nice ccws and all but I think a clutch is probably the smarter purchase right now, and I only have so much money to spend. I know people out there have put 275s on the stock wheels but i'm not sure if thats a good idea. Now I understand that i'm not going to be having outstanding traction, but c'mon I can't take another summer running on these stock 235s. There is no grip at all with them. I'm probably going to be making a purchase in the next couple of weeks so if anyone has any suggestions that would be great.

Your set up is similar to mine so i'l take your word for it. But theirs gotta be something out there that can get me through the summer with some better hook up. I would love to get some holeshots but I don't think they could withstand too much driving on the street.
