So had my d1sc installed over a month ago and everything is good except an extending start issue. Drove the car for about a week and took the car back to shop to complain about this. They kept it for a day & go to pick it they tell me that that issue is normal with an upgraded fuel pump. So I drive the car like that for 2 & half weeks and set an appointment with another reputiable shop in san antonio. Drop the car off this morning for Get a call in the afternoon them telling me that they either didn't replace the pump or it's a bad pump. So call the shop who did the work initially and dropped it back it off. What pisses me off is that they ignored my concern after dropping 8g's. Hopefully they'll fix it. By the way I have 42lb injectors & 255 wolboro pump.

that sucks. Make sure they fix it and never go back there again. They have a habit of doing that to people.

so many shops just dont go the extra mile to make sure shit is done right and tested.
that issue is NOT normal with an upgraded pump, thats just an excuse to not do any work.

im guessing they just didnt install the pump right and it was leaking past the o-rings on the pump.
when its running right, id ask for a re-tune or at least checked. if it had a leak you probably had less PSI at WOT (should be 55-60 i believe). once its fixed youd be running more PSI than when it was tuned and would be running rich

Well I had fuel injection runn a diagnostic on the car yesterday for a second opionion and they said at idle it was running 50 psi and when accelerating psi dropped to 30 psi. Don @ fuel injection told me to take it to them once lethal finishes and they would put it on there dyno see what it reads. Lethal is going to replace the fuel pump and i'm having them upgrade the injectors to 60lb and they are going to retune it. What makes me mad is that they kind of ignored me when I brought up the issue of having a starting problem.
