anyone have one? Thinking about buying one.....half the price of an AR......my gun shop said they can order me one for $589, it can take AR mags and they look pretty sweet. I have had the AK bug for a while now but cant see spending $800 on a romanian wasr10 that just feels crappy and cheap.....also wont be as accurate, but it would have the bad ass factor of being an AK:) someone point me in the right direction

what do you mean a real one? a real AR? a couple hundred would be more like another $600:bomb: i went to a few shops today and the Cheapest AR i could find was a crappy looking dpms with just a rail and no iron sights...they wanted $1100. all the rock rivers and bushmasters were $1200-1600....fuck that shit.

how long do you suppose thats gonna take? honestly i don't think they will ever go down, if people are willing to pay those prices now....why lower them? and what is normal for a decent AR....i wasn't really looking at them before the prices went up

If you look at my sig that is a rock river lar15 I just bought about 3 months ago. Trust me you can't get a better gun, you are better off paying full price and get the good stuff. Mine was $1400 with 3 30 round mags, 4 rail mounting system, and flip up sights.
I swear by the m4 and wouldn't buy anything else. Just my $.02

Personally I find issue with paying $600 of ANY Kel-Tec. The only "cool" feature is that is uses AR mags, beyond that it really is a waste of money. You are better off waiting until the prices stabilize and even drop, yes they will eventually.
Save your money and buy a quality rifle that you want, remember cheap crap is still crap. You would eventually regret buying the Kel-Tec, you would never regret buying a AR or nice AK.

Those are some good prices too!
I had one of the Yugo under folders, very nice AK. They also come with the *cough* full auto *cough* bolt carriers.
Like an IDIOT I sold it to a buddy because he offered me $100 over what I paid for it.
I want another one but its hard to justify a 3rd AK.
Edit: You know if you remove the "16" from Kel-Tec su16c you get the true model number.
