I have the D1 pro charger and the Walbro 255 fuel pump. We have already drilled holes in the bottom of the fuel assembly bucket and I am still losing about 5 PSI, its going from 60lbs to about 55lbs and that's at only 5 lbs of boost. Any suggestions or is it just time for a boost a pump.

I have the set up in my sig and i go from 62 down to 57 on my fuel pressure gauge. During the tune my AFR was good and showed that i was getting enough fuel.

I'd say get a BAP. I have the 8.1L mod. 255 and BAP, and mine only drops about 3 PSI at WOT.. 550@the tires.

Actually, in addition to the 5 PSI line/pump loss you're experiencing, the boost is causing you to lose 5 more effective PSI that doesn't show up on your pressure gauge.

I was in the same boat. Did the bucket upgrade, walbro, boost a pump - still dropped pressure. Finally stopped losing pressure when I went with a better fuel system - Aeromotive A1000, regulator, bigger line, return line, and some misc. parts. Now it's rock steady at 59psi.

I was lucky the AFR was great and my guys was able to drop a great tune, the fuel pressure never got below 57lbs.
