Went to Cabela's to originally get get a Morgan adjustable recoil pad since my gun wasnt fitting me just right. Anyway I happen to see this beauty there and I immediately changed my mind. The packed snaps open and closed to I took it out and held it to my shoulder and tried to envision a gun on the end of it and i really liked how it felt.
Ive wanted a pistol grip so bad ever since i bought the gun but all i could find were tactical style stocks. I've never seen this one EVER and its straight from Remington. I ever check their webpage earlier and never saw it.
anyway, since it was exactly what i was looking for in a stock, I bought it. Just got it installed and i love it. Feels awesome and the gun fits so much better now. cant wait to shoot it tomorrow.

I'm thinking of getting the Knoxx stock for my tactical 870. I like the recoil system and the adjustability of the stock like my AR15. Botach Tactical has it for $89.99 this month, so I may pull the trigger on it soon.

Yeah I really like the looks of those types of stock, however they arent the best for trap shooting and thats all i do with mine. I wasnt even going to buy a pistol grip, but this stock fits me really well, and the comb is a lot better than stock. Overall just a better fit.
The guys at the gun club were interested in it too, and for the most part thought it was a nice looking stock. They made some jokes like "what are you gonna bust some robbers later or what" since they all have $4,000 O/U and are all serious about trap, but it was all in good fun.
One of the league guys was like "woah...is that a Benelli?" i said "Nope...just my 870" He was like "wow...thats a cool looking stock. very nice."
I then went on to shoot 7/25 haha fail. The feel of the gun was completly different and took some time to zero in to the new feel. I started the 2nd round 1 for 5, and got the hang of it and ended up hitting 17, and 21 the 3rd round.
I've only been shooting trap (and shotguns in general) for about 1.5 months so my average is only about 18-21 per round anyway. This stock lets me get a more direct view of the target...if that makes any sense...i dunno. Cant wait to get back out there. I hope to put about 100 rounds through it next time.

I like it. Don't own an 870 yet, but I would seriously consider that stock for it. Good find!

I Have The Knox Stock On My 870 And Love It. You Can Keep It Short To Make It Easy To Swing Around Or Keep It Long For When Shooting For Accuracy.

I don't like the synthetic stock I swapped onto my 870 a few years back, but it was damn sure easier than refinishing the wood stock (which I kept by the way). The wood texture just felt more "natural" for wingshooting. By keeping the original wood stock, I always have the option of changing my mind.
