was at a swap meet today and came across some Hoosier tires that looked to be drag radials but upon further inspection aid nothing more than "Racing Tire" on tem. i bought them since hey were cheap enough with intentions of placing them on some stock 17s.

got to a computer after leavin and found out they are a road course/autoX tire. the hoosier part number is 45700... anybody tried these or something similar and have some input?

thanks!

Heat em up, and they will stick. Not the best for drags because of the stiffer sidewall so run more air in them than you would a drag radial. Definitely better than street tyres. I'd also recommend keeping them out of the burnout box. Just spin em once or twice be4 u stage.

thats about what i was thinking. they didnt actually say 'drag' on them anywhere so i thought there was a chance they were meant for corners... and i noticed the stiff sidewalls as well. for $50 each, i think theyll be a nice upgrade from the factory potenza 18s when i hit the track
