This was one of the two tires I was considering getting when I replaced my tires a couple months ago. Everything I read and heard was very good. I went with Bridgestone A/S tires wanting more mileage out of them, big mistake, and should have gotten these. A few guy on here have them and seem to like them. A search should probably pull up their threads.

I've heard good things about them, personally I've had general UHPs and have Eagle GTs on the car right now. Love the Eagle GTs, which are also non-directional/asymmetrical. Don't think you can go wrong with any of the three.

I looked hard into these. Went with Nitto Invo's instead. I'll let you know in a couple thousand miles whether I think I made the right decision.

I'm in the market for new tires and have had my eyes on these for some time now. All local dealers are out of stock on them, so if timing works out soon enough I'll snag a set and let you know my thoughts. BTW, I'll be running 245/40/18s on all 4 corners.

These are one of the best tires that we have ever tested! Bar none. We have them on our own GTO and they are absolutely EXCELLENT. Great in the dry, nice soft ride, quiet. Plus, in the rain, the car thinks it is dry outside. Not to mention, very cool looking.

Are you by any chance a Vredestein tire distributor who could help a fellow GTO'er out by selling him a set? :)

Edit: NM, just found a set locally for super cheap. :D I'll let you know what I think of them shortly.

One day I will get these.

The company I work for is Dutch, so when I saw these tires mentioned on this forum a while ago, I called my Dutch colleagues and asked them all about these tires. They had a very high opinion of them.

Just picked up my set this AM and were installed as of 2pm. Before these I had the Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3s which, based on the reviews from the Vette guys, these are comparable to. Got about 25k miles out of the GSD3s and that was with 60% highway and moderately aggressive driving 70% of the time. I'll give you my 2 cents once I've put a few miles on em.

Cool deal Greg, I trust your opinion you may be the deciding factor on my next set of tires.

Thanks dude. Good to see you back on here. ;)

I tossed her around a bit this weekend and like what I felt so far. Grip is solid, handling is great and the road noise is pretty non-existent. I'll keep ya'll posted.

I've had them on the front for about 15,000 miles. The rears lasted for about the same before I ran out of tread :) No noise, great traction wet or dry and work well down to about 45 degrees. I bought mine from Group A great guys!

Yea, we have not had 1 single complaint of any kind about these tires. And for the money, you definatley can't beat them.

do these run as narrow as the Toyo T1-R?

What is the reccomended size for 19x8 and 19x9 Drift Rs? want to fit as wide as possible in front and rear. I have 5 mm spacers on the front.

Once my Toyos are done, I think I'm getting these. (which might take awhile, my Toyos are wearing really well)

Does anyone know if these run wider or narrower then a equivalent Nitto? I know Nittos run narrow and this is a dead thread just didnt want to start another thread.

Thanks guys,,,

Great tire from the reviews I have read. The only thing that stopped me was local availability. I went with Yokohama S drives as a comparable tire, due to it being readily available and stocked by many local tire shops.

If you can find a local supplier for the Vredestein, the price really cannot be beat.

I wanted these but our forum sponsor couldn't seem to find them for me. I went with the Falken's that I have now. BUT from everything I read they're good tires and they do look super cool. In fact I think they are by far the sexiest tires I've EVER seen. I did get one negative comment from a well respected local forum sponsor on them concerning premature wear.

Wait is this really my 1000 post? WOW! YEA!:woot::woot:

I just had them put on my car recently. 235 40s. I dont have much experience with 18s or the car in general as I've only had the car for a few months, but they seem to be better than the 555's that I took off of it. Not really a fair comparison, b/c I dont know how many miles or months were on the nittos, but these seem to be quieter and don't spin when I shift wot into 2nd. Now that the near useless "review" is over, here's a picture with them on the car if anyone is curious... still can't get used to 235's... they look so narrow:

Well, I didn't want any chance of them rubbing on the front and I'd like to get the most life out of all 4 that I can so rotating is a plus. I read a bunch of threads about sizes to see if that brand ran large or anything, but I didn't find enough info on them to chance them running large and rubbing.
