Is anyone doing this? They reccomend a minimum of a 9 inch wheel.

Also I am lowered about 1.12 inches in back. Will grinding my fender lips be enough to run this tire?

Or I could go with the hoosier if that would run a little narrower.

That's what I'm planning on running, considering I've got two extra sets of 17 inch wheels.

So while I can't help you with an answer, I'll be watching this thread :D

The Hoosier runs wider...11.3 to 11 inches ... that's sidewall width, its also shorter 25.7 to 26 inches and weighs less 21 to 28 lbs.

They are the same width but the Hoosier is a little shorter on the overall rolling diameter. They will both fit but you need your fender lips trimmed or rolled.

I am prepared to grind away my lips but I do not want to roll them. I wonder if I am too low.

I have the exact tire and wheel combo. I first ran them with stock springs and drag bags. They did rub. I have since rolled the inner fender and bought a new set of tires. No issues now with 14-18 lbs in the drag bags when the MT's are on.

Has anyone ran them on a lowered car?

You'll be fine even on a lowered car, just need to roll or trim the fender lips.
